Former Ballistic Brothers member David Hill and London XPress club promoter Sav Remzi founded Nuphonic in 1995. Their first releases - like Faze Action's Full Motion EP - inaugurated a long string of classy retro-futuristic records rooted in classic underground disco cuts (David Mancuso's Loft, Faze Action) as well as UK's finest Electronic music (Andy Weatherall's beautiful Nine O'Clock Drop, Maurice Fulton).
