| TIGERSUSHI REVIEW |
| Despite the omnipresent influence of legends such as Robert
Wyatt or Thelonious
Monk and the faltering of Benoît Burello's voice and accent, The
Newton Plum still remains a fucking A LP and one of the best unexpected releases
of 2001. Though Newton proved that a plum and a leadball of the same weight would
fall at the same speed if immmersed in a frictionless environment, listenning
to the driven Underseas
and Iconic proves the contrary
: Bed's music seems set to lightly
float forever whilst shallow and heavy compositions plummet one by one to the
ground. |
